At Walking With Honor, we believe no veteran should have to face life's challenges alone—and neither should a deserving shelter dog. That's why we're incredibly grateful for our partnership with Annie's Angels through their Angel Pets for Vets program.
Angel Pets for Vets helps remove financial barriers by covering the adoption fees for the shelter dogs that enter our service dog program. Their support allows us to focus our resources where they're needed most—providing professional training, veterinary care, equipment, and ongoing support to our veteran service dog teams, all at no cost to the veteran. The program also supports companion animal placements and helps expand access to service dogs for those who need them most.
Because of Annie's Angels' generosity, more rescue dogs are given a second chance at life, and more veterans receive the life-changing support they deserve. Together, we're proving that healing often begins with a single connection—one veteran, one rescue dog, and one opportunity to change both of their lives forever.
